Dulce

To My Loving Wife on Our Anniversary

The sweetest dew that fills my thoughts
And runs down over my soul
A gift from Heaven, and angel sent
To mend and make me whole
The aura of unfettered bliss
Flush of rose kissed skin of white
Twinkling jade and emerald shine
Stars that filled your eyes that night
Perfumed tresses swaying gently
Woven with baby's breath
A vision of beauty, a well of grace
That truly knew no depth
A threefold cord not broken in ease
Our hearts with His forevermore combined
And though much time gulfs that day from now
I embrace your body, and it lives again within my mind
