The Journey of Time

Years roll away,
like waves from the shore.
My happiness out to sea today,
I ask, what's it all for?
Everyday seems alike,
where is the stirring within?
Life with its venom strikes,
alone, and wounded again.
Billows of time,
breeze quickly past.
Never the moments are mine,
like grains of sand slipping fast.
The moments cruelly steal by,
I stand alone just remembering,
Like a fox on the sly,
causes the grapevines' trembling.
Time you have journeyed on while my mind stands still.

The Highest Books of Wisdom,
cannot tell the path to replace you.
But in the Son's kingdom,
I will embrace times lost too.
