A Bard's Song: The Glory Road

I'm walking down this Glory Road, I've set my eye's upon Your face
With Your hands, mold and shape me, and I'll forever sing Your praise
Forlorn, lost and broken, oh, but I've left those days behind
I'm a new man, on a new path, walking down this Glory Road
So let the cold winds blow, let the hail sting my face
I'm now a stranger to this cold world, I am through with its harsh ways
But I've heard Your words, and I'll do just as You've said
I know I'll never walk alone, walking down this Glory Road
I'm walking down this Glory Road, and by Your Spirit I am sealed
You bled out love, I found forgiveness, and by Your mercy I was healed
The dark ways and treacherous paths, I shall wander down no more
I'm free at last! I'm free at last! Walking down the Glory Road
This path flies beneath my feet, like the hissing sands of time
Until at last with You I'll meet, where I will praise You for all time
Home at last with those, my bold friends, who've gone before
Walkers are we to Heaven's door, the straight and narrow Glory Road
