What battles are fought as we live out our days?
What wars have we won by the choices we've made?
To whom went the victory by the words that we've said?
Is the conflict turned when we do the right things?
Are there cheers beyond sound, made by those beyond sight?
Toward what ends do our wills move us?
Were we right or wrong, at the end of our days?
What things were left unsaid?
Was forgiveness obtained?
How did we fight? How did we fare?
Whose soldiers were we, in the battles unseen?
