The Remaking

Darkness crackles, flutters and flees
Spent- blown away by the Spirit's breeze
Pierced by rays- nova bright, consumed in white light,
Healed- clean of disease, the Reaper brought to his knees
Sin can't take hold- Death can't stain a blood washed soul, born again
Interior desert- lifeless, inert- heat blasted, packed, dried dirt
Behold! The coming storm, floods alter and transform
A spiritual landscape flourishes and new life forms
Renewed from scorching heat- strong and reborn
Withered branches grow- budding fruit shows
Warrior spirit, tested, trained, released- empowered in soulish plains
Supernaturally armored and armed, trained in the fight,
Kneel! Pray! Not one uttered prayer is vain- unleash holy might
All that which is remains in God's sight
The Commander on high sends angels in flight
Remade, restored, new eyes unclouded
The old self has passed, it lies, dead and shrouded
Heart pumping fast, voice strong, speaks words of life to the throngs
Filled bodily with nova white light
Becoming one with the dark, one more star in the night
