a house on the Rock

They came-the fire, the tsunami, and the hurricane winds
But my house on the cliff still stands
Built on the high solid Rock of the one true Christ
Constructed with care by His carpenter's hands
As for all my possessions, my vast stores of self
You can see them tossing burnt and broken in the sea
Here, all that's left standing is one well built house
The strength of Christ Jesus in me
